Bruno Mars has revealed plans to embark on an arena tour this summer in support of his new album, Unorthodox Jukebox. The pop star will bring his “Moonshine Jungle” world tour to Boston for a performance at the TD Garden on Wednesday, June 26. Tickets for the concert, which range in price from $40 to $94, will go on sale Friday at 10 a.m. through Ticketmaster. Opening the show will be Fitz and The Tantrums

Unorthodox Jukebox, Mars’ sophomore release and follow-up to 2010’s Doo-Wops & Hooligans, debuted at #2 on the Billboard 200 after its release in December. Powered by hit singles “Locked Out of Heaven” and “When I Was Your Man” (video streaming below), the album has reached the top ten in over 15 different countries. Executive produced by The Smeezingtons, the hit-making production team comprised of Mars, Philip Lawrence, and Ari Levine, Unorthodox Jukebox also includes production credits from producers including Mark Ronson, Jeff Bhasker, Diplo, Emile Haynie, Benny Blanco and Paul Epworth.

Following the show in Boston, Mars will travel south to Connecticut for a performance at the Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville on Thursday, June 27. Ticket information will be released soon.

Fitz and The Tantrums are gearing up for the release of their highly anticipated sophomore album, More Than Just A Dream. The follow-up to 2010’s Pickin’ Up the Pieces will be released on May 7.
