Springsteen, Clapton & Arcade Fire lead New Orleans’ Jazz Fest

The New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festival has revealed its lineup for 2014. Taking place over two weekends, April 25 to 27 and May 1 to 4, the legendary festival will host headliners Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band, Eric Clapton, Arcade Fire, Phish, Christina Aguilera and Santana for its 45th anniversary.

Other notable acts set to perform in New Orleans include John Fogerty, Vampire Weekend, Robert Plant and the Sensational Shape Shifters, Foster the People, Robin Thicke, The Avett Brothers, Public Enemy, Alabama Shakes, String Cheese Incident, Chaka Khan, Lyle Lovett, The Head And The Heart, The Mavericks, Solange and John Hiatt.

Of course, the festival will also host several of Louisiana’s top talents including Trombone Shorty & Orleans Avenue, Aaron Neville, Better Than Ezra, Preservation Hall Jazz Band, Galactic, Allen Toussaint, Ivan Neville’s Dumpstaphunk, Cowboy Mouth, Marc Broussard, The Radiators and Big Freedia.

In total, the New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festival will feature over 80 acts performing across multiple stages on the Fair Grounds Race Course.

Single day tickets for the festival are now on sale through Ticketmaster for the advance price of $50 through the end of January and then $55 after. A variety of VIP packages are also available.
