Broken Bells plan new album, tour

Broken Bells will return to the road this spring to promote their forthcoming album, After the Disco. The duo of Brian Burton (better known as acclaimed producer Danger Mouse) and James Mercer (lead vocalist and guitarist of The Shins) will make their way to Boston for a performance at the House of Blues on Wednesday, March 5. Tickets for the show, which will also feature openers Au Revoir Simone, are available through Live Nation for $29.50 and $39.50.

After the Disco, Broken Bells’ sophomore album and long-awaited follow-up to their self-titled 2010 debut, will be released on February 4. Fans can get a taste of the new material with lead single “Holding On For Life”, which is streaming below.

The video for the single is comprised of scenes from Part One and Part Two of the band’s short film entitled “After the Disco”, which stars Kate Mara and Anton Yelchin.
