Brian McKnight will return to the road this summer for a tour in support of his forthcoming album, Just Me. The acclaimed singer will hit Rhode Island for a performance at the Providence Performing Arts Center on Friday, July 15. Tickets for the show, which range in price from 45 to $106, are now on sale through the venue’s box office and official website.

Originally scheduled to hit stores in April, McKnight has pushed the release date for Just Me to July 12. The two-disc set, his thirteenth album and first since 2009’s Evolution of a Man, will feature 12 brand new songs, along with a bonus live disc. “Fall 5.0”, Just Me‘s lead single, is already available through iTunes and its video is streaming below.

“For me, one of the greatest things about this album is that all the new tracks were collaborations between me and my sons BJ & Niko,” explained McKnight in a press release. “Under the name C.A.T.S., we wrote and co-produced these tracks with a sound I think the fans are going to love.”

McKnight’s sons and brother Claude (former member of Take 6) will also perform on the tour, as will  special guest Anthony David.
