Brantley Gilbert has announced plans for a fall tour in support of his new album, Just as I Am. The rising country rocker will team up with Massachusetts native Aaron Lewis for a performance at the DCU Center in Worcester on Saturday, September 27. Tickets for the show, which range in price from $22.75 to $35, will go on sale Friday at 10 a.m. through Ticketmaster. Chase Bryant and Brian Davis will also perform.

Just as I Am, Gilbert’s third studio effort and follow-up to 2010’s Halfway to Heaven, debuted at #2 on the Billboard 200 and atop Billboard’s Country albums chart after its release in May. Produced by Dann Huff (Rascal Flatts, Hunter Hayes), Gilbert wrote or co-wrote all eleven tracks. It has been powered by hit singles “Bottoms Up” (streaming below) and “Small Town Throwdown” (featuring Justin Moore and Thomas Rhett).

“I have always said that each of my albums has told a story… my story, and this album is no different. This one picks up where Halfway to Heaven left off,” said Gilbert in a press release. “I have gone through a lot the past few years… a lot of highs and lows and all of that is reflected in this project. My fans know I’m a straight shooter so I didn’t leave anything out. I think there is something for everyone — from my party side to the gentler stuff. I can’t wait to share this new music with the BG Nation.”

Lewis, best known as frontman for Springfield-bred rockers Staind, is reportedly working on his second full-length solo album. The veteran rocker went country with the release of his full-length debut album The Road in 2012. The album was produced by James Stroud (Toby Keith, Tim McGraw) and features singles “Endless Summer” and “Forever”. Meanwhile, Staind are also at work on their eighth studio album and first since their 2011 self-titled album.

Following the show in Worcester, Gilbert and Lewis will travel north to Maine for a performance at the Cross Insurance Center in Bangor on Sunday, September 28.
