Brad Paisley maps summer tour

Brad Paisley has revealed plans for a summer outing in support of his forthcoming album, Wheelhouse. The country superstar will make his way to Massachusetts for a performance at the Comcast Center in Mansfield on Friday, May 17. Tickets for the show, which range in price from $36 to $61, will go on sale Friday at 10 a.m. through Live Nation. Chris Young and Lee Brice will also perform.

Wheelhouse, Paisley’s ninth studio effort and follow-up to 2011’s This Is Country Music, will hit stores on April 9. Recorded in Tennessee at his home studio, the West Virginia-native solely produced the album for the first time and also wrote or co-wrote each of its sings. Wheelhouse features lead single “Southern Comfort Zone”, which recently became his 21st single to hit #1 on Billboard’s Hot Country Songs chart. The video for the song, which was filmed over eight days in eight countries and covered 10,000 miles with just two camera, is streaming below.

“It’s all about leaving your comfort zone, this album,” he states. “What is my wheelhouse? We have tried to go out on a limb with this record and see how far we can stretch things.”

Following the show in Mansfield, Paisley will make his way to Connecticut for a performance at Hartford’s Comcast Theatre on Saturday, May 18. Tickets for the show, which range in price from $30.75 to $66, are now on sale through Live Nation.
