Brad Paisley extends tour into summer months

After wrapping the first leg of his highly successful “Virtual Reality” world tour, Brad Paisley has announced an additional 43 dates this summer and fall. The country superstar will return to Massachusetts for a show at the Comcast Center in Mansfield on Sunday, June 3. Tickets for the show, which range in price from $25 to $60, will go on sale Friday at 10 a.m. through Live Nation. Joining Paisley for the summer trek will be special guests The Band Perry and Easton Corbin.

Paisley, the reigning ACM Male Vocalist of the Year, continues to tour in support of his latest album, This Is Country Music. Released last May, Paisley’s eighth studio effort has produced hit singles “This Is Country Music”, “Old Alabama”, “Remind Me” and “Camouflage”. This Is Country Music features numerous special guests, including Alabama, Carrie Underwood, Don Henley, Blake Shelton, Sheryl Crow, Marty Stuart and Carl Jackson. Legendary actor Clint Eastwood contributes by whistling during an instrumental track named after him. Last year, Paisely contributed two songs to the soundtrack for the film “Cars 2”, including a collaboration with Robbie Williams called “Collision Of Worlds”.

Prior to the show in Mansfield, Paisley will perform at the Comcast Theatre in Hartford, Connecticut on Friday, June 2. The summer tour is highlighted by a headlining performance at Wrigley Field, home of the Chicago Cubs.

Reigning ACM and CMA New Artist of the Year, The Band Perry continues to tour in support of self-titled 2010 debut album. The album features hit singles “Hip to My Heart”, “If I Die Young”, “You Lie” and “All Your Life”. Corbin is also touring in support of his self-titled 2010 debut album.
