Boys Like Girls and The All-American Rejects will team up for a co-headlining tour this fall. The two pop-punk favorites will hit New England for a pair of shows including a stop in Boston for a performance at the House of Blues on Saturday, September 22. Tickets for the show will go on sale Saturday at 10 a.m. through Live Nation for $25 and $35.

“I’ve always been a big fan of The All-American Rejects and couldn’t be more delighted to be sharing the stage with them this fall,” declared Boys Like Girls frontman Matin Johnson in a press release. “I think it’s going be a great time for both the fans and bands alike. Looking forward to a really great couple of months.”

The tour will kick off in New Hampshire at the Hampton Beach Casino Ballroom on Thursday, September 13. Tickets for the show will go on sale Friday at 10 a.m. through Ticketmaster for $28.50.

Boston’s Boys Like Girls will be touring in support of their forthcoming album, Crazy World. The band’s third studio effort and follow-up to 2009’s Love Drunk, is expected to hit stores this fall. No official release date has been announced for the album. Fans looking for a taste of the new album can purchase the Crazy World EP exclusively through iTunes. The EP includes three songs from the LP and fans can hen purchase the full-length release at discounted rate. The lyric video for lead single “Be Your Everything” is streaming below.

“It’s a great transition from where the band was. We came from a wall of guitars, and the sound has evolved,” said Johnston of the single in a press release.”The only time I really express my feelings is when I’m writing music. That’s how it’s been since I was a little kid. This song is about the moment when it becomes okay to say, I love you.”

The All-American Rejects are touring in support of their new album, Kids In The Street. The band’s fourth studio effort and follow-up to 2008’s When the World Comes Down was released in March. Produced by Greg Wells (Mika, OneRepublic), the album features lead singles “Beekeeper’s Daughter”, “Kids in the Street” and “Walk Over Me”.
