Boston Pops postpone Saturday’s show with Kenny Loggins

Due to the pending arrival of Hurricane Earl, the Boston Pops have postponed their scheduled performance with Kenny Loggins at McCoy Stadium in Pawtucket, Rhode Island on Saturday. The performance will now take place next Friday, September 10. All original tickets for the show from September 4 will be honored on September 10. No exchanges are necessary.

People unable to attend the rescheduled concert may obtain a refund by returning their tickets, along with a valid receipt, in person at the PawSox Box Office at McCoy on or before September 9 at 12:00 Noon. No refunds will be allowed after 12:00 Noon on September 9

Tickets for the show, which range in price from $35 to $100, are still on sale through pawsox.com. A portion of the proceeds will be donated to Hasbro Children’s Hospital.

As previously reported, the concert is a continuation of the the Boston Pops’ 125th season celebration and will mark the first time that the full orchestra complement has ever performed in a baseball stadium, as well as the first time the Boston Pops have performed an outdoor concert in the Providence area. It will also be Loggins only New England performance of the year.
