Bob Mould makes special plans for fall tour

Bob Mould has revealed plans for a fall tour that will celebrate the rocker’s past and present work. The founder of Sugar and Huserk Du will hit Boston for a show at the Paradise Rock Club on Monday, September 10. Tickets are now on sale through Ticketmaster for $20.

On the upcoming tour, Mould will celebrate the 20th anniversary of Sugar’s debut album Copper Blue, by playing it in its entirety. Fans can also expect to hear material off Mould’s forthcoming album, Silver Age. The singer’s tenth solo release and follow-up to 2009’s Life and Times will hit stores on September 4.

Mould’s backing backing band is comprised of drummer Jon Wurster (Superchunk) and bassist Jason Narducy (Split Single, Verbow).

Merge Records will also release Sugar’s re-issued catalogue on July 24.
