Bob Dylan has mapped plans for a fall tour that will bring him to Massachusetts for a pair of shows in November. The legendary singer-songwriter will play the Mullins Center in Amherst on Friday, November 19. Tickets are now on sale through Ticketmaster for $47.50. From there, he and his band will make their way to Lowell for a show at the Tsongas Center on Saturday, November 20. Tickets for that show are also now on sale for $47.50 through the venue’s box office.

The tour comes on the heels of Dylan’s latest box set release, The Original Mono Recordings. The set is comprised of Dylan’s first eight studio albums in mono on nine compact discs, the album Blonde on Blonde being issued on two discs in its original vinyl format. In conjunction with the release of the box set last week, Dylan also released The Witmark Demos as Volume 9 in his Bootleg Series. The album features forty-seven original demos recorded For Dylan’s early music publishers.

Massachusetts-based Dylan fans will also be exited to hear that he’s also released a limited set of a rare appearance at Brandies University in 1963. Bob Dylan in Concert: Brandeis University, 1963 has never been heard, bootlegged, or circulated in any way. It was taped on May 10, 1963, at Brandeis University’s First Annual Folk Festival.
