New Wave legends Blondie have announced plans for a summertime tour of North American, which will include a pair of stops in New England. The group will close out their tour at Boston’s House of Blues on Sunday, September 12. Tickets for the show, which are priced at $36 and $49, go on sale Saturday at 10 a.m. through Live Nation.

Prior to their Boston show, Blondie will hit Rhode Island for a show at the Twin River Events Center in Lincoln on Friday, September 10. Tickets are now on sale through Ticketmaster and range in price from $32.50 to $42.50.

Blondie will be touring in support of their forthcoming album, Panic of Girls, which is set to hit stores in June. The album will be the band’s ninth studio effort and first since 2003′ The Curse of Blondie. The album and this summer’s tour will feature Blondie’s classic line up of co-founders Debbie Harry, guitarist Chris Stein and drummer Clem Burke. Not appearing with the band will be co-founder and keyboardist Jimmy Destri, who has split with the band in 2003.
