Blink-182 cancels upcoming tour

Blink-182 have cancelled their upcoming tour, which was scheduled to make stops in New England. Due to a medical emergency, drummer Travis Barker must undergo an urgent tonsillectomy with a recovery period expected to extend beyond the scheduled tour dates.

The band had been scheduled to perform at the Verizon Wireless Arena in Manchester, New Hampshire on May 17 and at the Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, Connecticut on May 18. Refunds are available at the point of purchase.

“The band apologizes for any inconvenience as a result of these cancelations and thanks their fans for their ongoing support,” read a statement on the Blink-182’s website.
