Billy Currington kick off his biggest headlining tour of the United States next month. The rising country star will make his way to Massachusetts this spring for a show at the Tsongas Center in Lowell on Thursday, May 3. Tickets for the show, which range in price from $29.50 to $35, are now on sale through the venue’s box office and website. David Nail and Kip Moore will open the show.

Currington continues to tour in support of his latest release, Enjoy Yourself. The Georgia native’s fourth studio effort was co-produced by Currington and Carson Chamberlain. Released in September of 2010, Enjoy Yourself debuted at #9 on the Billboard 200 and later peaked at#2 on the Billboard Country Albums chart. It has been powered by hit singles “Pretty Good at Drinkin’ Beer”, “Let Me Down Easy”, “Love Done Gone” and “Like My Dog”.

“I have learned a lot over the years touring with some of the biggest names in country music,” said Currington, who toured with Kenny Chesney last summer, in a press release. “I am excited to put that knowledge to use on this tour by giving fans a great show as a thank you for all of their support. It will also be a great way to test out some new music!”

Nail will be touring in support of his new album, The Sound of a Million Dreams. The singer’s sophomore release features hit single “Let It Rain”. Moore’s forthcoming debut album, Drive Me Crazy, is expected to hit stores this spring.

Following the show in Massachusetts, the tour will stop in Wallingford, Connecticut for a show at the Oakdale Theatre on Friday, May 4.
