Big Boi makes big plans for New England

Currently touring in support of his new album Vicious Lies and Dangerous Rumors, Big Boi will conclude the “Shoes for Running” tour next month in New England. The Atlanta bred rapper and one half of hip-hop superstars Outkast will hit Massachusetts for a show at Boston’s Paradise Rock Club on Wednesday, June 19. Tickets for the show are available through Ticketmaster for $25.

Vicious Lies and Dangerous Rumors, Bog Boi’s follow-up to his 2010 solo debut Sir Lucious Left Foot: The Son of Chico Dusty was released in December.It features a plethora of guest appearances, including T.I., Ludacris, Kid Cudi, Kelly Rowland, ASAP Rocky, B.o.B, Wavves, Big K.R.I.T., Theophilus London, and more. Lead single “Mama Told Me” is streaming below.

“I think this is my most personal album,” said Big Boi in an interview with ARTISTdirect earlier this year. “I opened up about a lot. There’s honesty in the music.”

Prior to the show in Boston, Big Boi will perform at Lupo’s Heartbreak Hotel in Providence, Rhode Island on Tuesday, June 18. Tickets for the show are available through eTix for $25.
