After rocking the Super Bowl Halftime show, Beyonce has revealed plans to return to the road for a world tour. She’ll bring “The Mrs. Carter Show” to Massachusetts for a performance at Boston’s TD Garden on Tuesday, July 23. Tickets for the show, which will range in price from $47.50 to $252.50 and feature a general admission floor, will go on sale Monday at 10 a.m. through Ticketmaster.

The upcoming tour will mark her first in three years and Beyonce is promising her most ambitious undertaking to date. Her last outing, the “I Am… Tour”, thrilled more than 1.1 million fans at more than one hundred shows in 32 countries and six continents across the globe from 2009 to 2010.

Beyonce is rumored to be working on her fifth studio album and follow-up to 2011’s 4, which featured hit singles “Run the World (Girls)”, “Best Thing I Never Had”, “Countdown” and “Love on Top”.

On February 16, Beyonce will premier her new documentary film, “Life Is But a Dream”, on HBO. The film, which Knowles directed and produced herself, will chronicle her life from childhood to music stardom today (see the trailer below). She’ll also star as Queen Tara in the upcoming 3D animated film, “Epic”, which will hit the big screen on May 24.

Following the show in Boston, Beyonce will perform at the Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, Connecticut on Friday, August 2. Tickets for the show, which will range in price from $85 to $155, will go on sale Friday, February 15 at 10 a.m. through Ticketmaster.

Beyonce’s Super Bowl Halftime performance featured a reunion with Destiny’s Child. Joined by Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams, the trio performed snippets of “Bootylicious” and “Independent Woman”. Last week, the group released a new compilation album, Love Songs, which featured one brand new song called “Nuclear”.
