Better Than Ezra have revealed plans for a series of East Coast concerts this spring. The pride of New Orleans will return to Boston for a performance at the Paradise Rock Club on Thursday, April 24. Tickets for the show are now on sale through Ticketmaster for $25.

The upcoming tour will serve as special break for the veteran rockers, who are currently completing their eighth studio release with Grammy Award nominated producer/mixer Tony Hoffer (Beck, Fitz and the Tantrums) at the helm. The forthcoming album follows 2009’s Paper Empire.

“With this upcoming album, it was really about exploring and reinventing a band that has been together for 25 years while staying true to who we are as artists,” explained lead singer and songwriter Kevin Griffin in a press release.

Better Than Ezra is comprised of founding members Griffin (vocals, guitar) and Tom Drummond (bass) along with drummer Michael Jerome who joined in 2009.

No release date for the forthcoming album has been announced, though it is expected to hit stores this summer.
