Ben Kweller has revealed dates for an springtime tour in support of his brand new album, Go Fly A Kite. The singer-songwriter will visit Boston for a show at the Paradise Rock Club on Friday, March 23. Tickets are now on sale through Ticketmaster for $20. Sleeper Agent and The Dig will also perform.

Go Fly A Kite
, Kweller’s fifth studio effort and first since 2009’s Changing Horses, was released last week. “It touches on each of my records, in that they’re hooky pop songs driven by pianos, guitars, harmonies and melodies,” Kweller said of Go Fly A Kite in a recent interview with the New York Times. “I think it might be my best album so far, because it seems like a nice and concise look at what I do.”

The new album also marks Kweller’s first with his own label, The Noise Company. “When I signed my first record deal 15 years ago, many artists had little understanding of, or interest in, the contracts that would eventually bind their musical future,” explained Kweller in a press release. “I was one of those artists. The Noise Co. is another step in creating my own system. It gives me the opportunity to work directly with people in the industry who were previously off limits.”
