Beach House have reveals plans for a nationwide tour this fall in support of their new album, Bloom. The Baltimore-based duo of Alex Scally and Victoria Legrand will bring their “Frightened Eyes” tour to Massachusetts for a night at the Wilbur Theatre on Monday, October 15. Tickets for the show are available through Ticketmaster for $24.

Bloom, Beach House’s fourth studio effort and follow-up to 2010’s Teen Dream, debuted at #7 on the Billboard 200 after its release in May. The album was recorded at Sonic Ranch in Tornillo, Texas and was co-produced by Chris Coady (Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Blonde Redhead). It features singles “Myth” and “Lazuli”. The video for the latter is streaming below.

“Many songs were omitted or dropped because they lacked a place within our vision for this album,” said Scally in a press release, which notes Bloom is meant to be experienced as an album.

Bloom is a journey,” added Legrand. “For me, it is about the irreplaceable power of imagination as it relates to the intense experience of living. A bloom is only temporary… a fleeting vision of life in all its intensity and color, beautiful even if only for a moment.”
