Between the stops in Connecticut and Massachusetts, the tour will stop at the Waterfront Pavilion in Bangor, Maine on Sunday, July 21. British comedy singer Boothby Graffoe will open each of the New England shows.

The summer tour will also serve as a celebration of Barenaked Ladies’s 25th anniversary. The Canadian pop-rock favorites are putting the finishing touches on their twelfth studio album and follow-up to 2010’s All in Good Time. The band recorded the new material in Toronto with producers Gavin Brown (The Tragically Hip, Metric), Howie Beck (Feist, Josh Rouse) and Mark Endert (Maroon 5, Train). The yet-to-be-named album will hit stores on June 4 and features lead single “Boomerang”. Fans will receive a voucher for a free download of the album with each ticket purchased to the upcoming tour.

After reuniting for to record three tracks for Ben Folds’ The Best Imitation of Myself: A Retrospective in 2011, the original Ben Folds Five trio (Ben, Robert Sledge and Darren Jessee) reunited last year for their first tour in twelve years. In September, they released a brand new album titled The Sound of the Life of the Mind.

In January, Guster self-released Live Acoustic. The collection features 16 live recordings from various shows during their 2012 acoustic tour. The band’s last offering of new material was 2010’s Easy Wonderful.
