Band of Horses to bring Mirage Rock to Boston

Band of Horses will hit the pavement this winter for a tour in support of their brand new album, Mirage Rock. The Seattle-based rockers will make their way to Boston for a show at the House of Blues on Sunday, December 9. Tickets for the show will go on sale Friday at 10 a.m. through Live Nation for $32.50 and $45.

Mirage Rock, Band of Horses’ fourth studio and follow-up to 2010’s Grammy-nominated Infinite Arms, debuted at debuted at #13 on the Billboard 200 afters its release earlier this month. Produced by Glyn Johns, it was  Recorded at Sunset Sound in Los Angeles. Mirage Rock, which is streaming in full on Soundcloud, features lead single “Knock Knock”. The video for the song is streaming below.

“It’s very loose and raw at times, but I think it also has its moments that hearken back to the older things we’ve done, while hopefully pushing forward,” said fronman Ben Bridwell of the new album in a recent interview with Contact Music.
