Avenged Sevenfold will soon return to the road for their “Welcome to the Family” tour with Three Days Grace and Bullet For My Valentine. The triple shot of hard rock will hit Massachusetts for a show at the MassMutual Center in Springfield on Tuesday, May 3. Tickets for the show are now on sale through Ticketmaster for $42.50 and $45.50.

California’s Avenged Sevenfold continue to tour in support of their latest release, 2010’s Nightmare. The album, the band’s fifth studio effort, debuted at #1 on the Billboard 200 after its release last January. It marks their first album without founding member James “The Rev” Sullivan performing drums due to his death in December 2009, though he is credited as a songwriter and his vocals were used for the songs “Fiction” and “Save Me”. Mike Portnoy of Dream Theater famed filled for the album and tour dates last year but has since left the group, while Arin Ilejay serves as their touring drummer.

Canada’s Three Days Grace continue tour in support of their third release, 2009’s Life Starts Now. Wales’ Bullet For My Valentine are also supporting their third album, 2010’s Fever.
