After opening for Taylor Swift at Gillette Stadium last weekend, Austin Mahone has revealed plans to return to Massachusetts for a more intimate show of his own. As part his first headlining tour, the 17 year-old pop star will stop in Boston for a concert at the Oprheum Theatre on Saturday, October 26. Tickets for the show, which will also feature openers Becky G., Midnight Red and W3 The Future, will go on sale Friday at 10 a.m. through Ticketmaster for $32.50.

The upcoming tour, which is presented by MTV’s Artist to Watch, will be in support of his forthcoming debut album. No release date has been scheduled for the yet-to-be-named album but it is expected to hit stores this fall. Mahone has garnered mainstream success thanks to his hit singles “Say You’re Just A Friend” and “What About Love”.

“MTV has supported me from the very beginning, even before I had a label,” said Mahone in a press release. “They’ve been right there with me and I appreciate that a lot. I’m so excited to be headlining my first tour and I can’t think of a better partner than MTV.”

Mahone has been nominated for his very first MTV Video Music Award in the “Artist To Watch” category.
