Hometown favorite Angie Miller has made it to the final three of American Idol. The Beverly, Massachusetts native will join Kree Harrison and Candice Glover in next week’s penultimate showdown.

As is tradition for Idol’s final three, Miller will return to Beverly this weekend for a special hometown parade and concert. According to Mayor Bill Scanlon’s office, the parade will start at 3 p.m. at City Hall on Saturday. Miller will be driven through town in a convertible to Beverly High School, where she is scheduled to perform outdoors from 4 to 5:30. Visitors from out of town are asked to use the commuter rail (accessible via the Rockport and Newburyport lines) for transportation as parking will be very limited. The concert will be outside at the high school and viewable from surrounding playing fields, though no seating will be available.  More information on the parade and concert is available here.

“Making the Top 3 means everything to me!,” said Miller in a press release. “I can’t wait to meet everyone who has supported me and got me this far in the competition.”

On Wednesday’s American Idol, Miller will perform three songs: one choice of their own, one choice from the judges and one from mentor Jimmy Iovine. The final two will be revealed on Thursday.

This past week, Miller performed Rihanna’s “Diamonds” as her selection for “Hit Song of 2013” and “Someone to Watch Over Me” as her selection from the “Great American Songbook Standards”.
