Alicia Keys to play the Agganis Arena

R&B superstar Alicia Keys will perform at the Agganis Arena this spring. The twelve-time Grammy winning songstress will play the Hub on Monday, March 22. Tickets for the show, which range in price from $67 to $127, go on sale Saturday at 10 a.m. through Ticketmaster.

The tour follows the release of Keys’ fourth studio album, The Element Of Freedom, which was released yesterday. The album features singles “Try Sleeping With a Broken Heart” and “Doesn’t Mean Anything”, as well as a solo version “Empire State of Mind”, a song originally recorded with Jay-Z.

Keys, who has been busy hitting the awards shows this fall promoting her new album, has still found a way to give back this holiday season, including performing a benefit concert on World AIDS Day. The show, dubbed, “Keys Live! One Night, One Voice, One Life at a Time”, was was broadcast live on Key’s YouTube channel,and supported, in part, Keep a Child Alive, a non-profit which Keys co-founded.
