Alanis Morissette will make her way to New England next month for a series of special shows. The 90’s rock favorite will bring her “Intimate and Acoustic” tour to Rhode Island, New Hampshire and Maine.

Morissette will first stop in Rhode Island for a performance at the Newport Yachting Center on Thursday, August 21. Tickets for the show, which range in price from $49.50 to $79.50, will go on sale Thursday at noon through Ticketmaster.

The following night, Morissette will travel north to New Hampshire for a performance at the Hampton Beach Casino Ballroom. Tickets for the show, which range in price from $38 to $76, are now on sale through Ticketmaster. She’ll complete the series of New England shows on Saturday, August 23 with a performance at the Maine State Pier in Portland.

Morissette’s last offering of all new material was 2012’s Havoc and Bright Lights. Released in August of 2012, it debuted at #5 on the Billboard 200 and atop Billboard’s Rock and Independent albums charts. Produced by Guy Sigsworth and Joe Chiccarelli, it featured lead sigle “Guardian”.

On the upcoming tour, fans can most likely expect a “Storytellers”/”Unplugged”-like setting, with a setlist covering all points of her career, including both new material and her seminal album Jagged Little Pill. Released in 1995, the album won four Grammy Awards including Album of the Year. It was powered by hit singles “You Oughta Know”, “Hand in My Pocket” and “Ironic”.
