Alan Jackson will return to New England in September as he continues to tour in support of his latest album, Thirty Miles West. The veteran country star will stop in Connecticut for a performance at the MGM Grand Theate at Foxwoods Casino on Saturday, September 7. Tickets for the show are now on sale through Ticketmaster for $70 to $90.

Thirty Miles West, Jackson’s 14th studio album and follow-up to 2010’s Freight Train, debuted at #2 on the Billboard 200 after its release last June. The album marks his first release on his own Alan’s Country Records in a partnership with EMI Nashville. Produced by longtime collaborator Keith Stegall, Thirty Miles West features singles “Long Way to Go”, “So You Don’t Have to Love Me Anymore” and “You Go Your Way”. It also features a duet with Zac Brown called “Dixie Highway”.

Most recently, Jackson collaborated with John Fogerty on “Have You Ever Seen the Rain” for the Creedence Clearwater Revival frontman’s brand new album, Wrote a Song for Everyone.
