Alan Jackson adds Lowell show to fall itinerary

Alan Jackson has added a second show in Massachusetts to the ongoing tour in support of his latest album, Thirty Miles West. Jackson, who will play The Big E in West Springfield later this month, will return to New England for a perform at the Tsongas Center in Lowell on Friday, October 19. Tickets for the show, which range in price from $49 to $69, are now on sale through the venue’s box office and website. Texas-based singer Kristen Kelly will open the show.

Thirty Miles West
, Jackson’s 14th studio album and follow-up to 2010’s Freight Train, debuted at #2 on the Billboard 200 after its release in June. The album mark’s his first release on his own Alan’s Country Records in a partnership with EMI Nashville. Produced by longtime collaborator Keith Stegall, Thirty Miles West features singles “Long Way to Go”, “So You Don’t Have to Love Me Anymore” and “You Go Your Way”. It also features a duet with Zac Brown called “Dixie Highway”.

As previously reported, Jackson will perform at The Big E in West Springfield on Sunday, September 30. Tickets for the show, which include admission to the fair, are available through Ticketmaster and range in price from $39 to $59.
