AFI have revealed plans for a tour in support of their first album in four years, Burials. The veteran rockers will hit Boston for a show at Royale on Monday, October 7. Tickets for the concert, which will also feature openers Touche Amore and Coming, will go on sale Saturday at 10 a.m. through Ticketmaster for $25.

Burials, AFI’s ninth studio effort and follow-up to 2009’s Crash Love, will hit stores on October 22. Fans can get a taste of the new release with its lead single “I Hope You Suffer”, which is streaming below.

“This record is of silence, of burials, and the burials that result from that silence,” explained lead vocalist Davey Havok in a press release. “It’s of betrayal, cruelty, weakness, anxiety, panic – deep and slow – despair, injury and loss. And in this it is shamefully honest and resolutely unforgiving.”
