Aaron Lewis will start off 2012 with a run of solo shows, including a stop in Connecticut. The Staind frontman will play the Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville on Thursday, February 16. Tickets for the show are now on sale through Ticketmaster for $30.

Best known as the lead singer of Massachusetts-based rockers Staind, Lewis released his debut solo EP Town Line earlier this year. The album, Town Line, reached the top spot on Billboard’s Top Country Albums chart. It’s been powered by hit single “Country Boy”. Three different versions of the song are included on the EP, including one with special guests George Jones, Charlie Daniels and Chris Young. Town Line also features a revised rendition of “Tangled Up in You”, which was originally recorded on Staind’s album The Illusion of Progress.

Staind released their self-titled seventh studio album in September. The album debuted at #5 on the Billboard 200 and features lead single “Not Again”. It also marks the band’s last release with original drummer Jon Wysocki, who departed from band following the recording process in May 2011. Sal Giancarelli has since joined the band for their live performances.
