Aaron Lewis has revealed plans a summer tour in support of his forthcoming full length solo debut album, The Road. The Staind frontman will return to Massachusetts to showcase his new country sound with a solo show at Boston’s House of Blues on Sunday, July 29. Tickets for the show will go sale Friday at 10 a.m. through Ticketmaster for $26 and $46.

The Road, Lewis’ first full length release and follow-up to his 2011 debut solo EP Town Line, will hit stores this summer. No official release date for the album has been announced. Produced by James Stroud (Toby Keith, Tim McGraw) and Lewis, The Road features ten brand new songs including the uptempo feel-good lead single “Endless Summer”. Fans can now download the single through digital retailers. The video for the song is streaming below.

Town Line, which reached the top spot on Billboard’s Top Country Albums chart after its release in March of 2011, has been powered by hit single “Country Boy”. Three different versions of the song are included on the EP, including one with special guests George Jones, Charlie Daniels and Chris Young. Town Line also features a revised rendition of “Tangled Up in You”, which was originally recorded on Staind’s album The Illusion of Progress.

Lewis is currently on tour with Staind, who will bring their co-headlining tour with Godsmack to the Verizon Wireless Arena in Manchester, New Hampshire on Wednesday, May 16 and the Comcast Theatre in Hartford, Connecticut on Saturday, May 19.
