After two successful outings, Everclear have announced plans to lead a third edition of the popular 90’s rock-fueled “Sumerland” tour. Also featuring Soul Asylum, Eve 6 and Spacehog, the tour will stop in Boston for a night at the House of Blues on Thursday, June 19. Tickets for the show will go on sale Friday at 10 a.m. through Live Nation for $35 and $45 with a limited number of early bird tickets available for the discounts price of $20.

The 90’s nostalgia tour was formed in 2012 by Art Alexakis, lead guitarist and vocalist of Everclear. It has featured bands such as Sugar Ray, Gin Blossoms, Lit, Marcy Playground, Live, Filter and Sponge.

“This tour just seems to get better and better every year,” declared Alexakis in a press release. “Both the bands and the fans are starting to connect with the name ‘Summerland’. It seems like it’s becoming synonymous with ’90’s Alternative Rock.”

Prior to the show in Boston, the Summerland tour will stop in New Hampshire for a night at the Hampton Beach Casino Ballroom on Wednesday, June 18. Tickets for the show will go on sale Friday at 10 a.m. through Ticketmaster for $28.

Each of the bands are expected to deliver sets featuring their greatest hits and fan favorites.

Everclear’s last offering of all new material was 2012’s Invisible Stars, their first in six years. Soul Aslyum and Eve 6’s last studio albums also came in 2012 with Delayed Reaction and Speak in Code respectively.

Spacehog will be promoting their latest album, As It Is on Earth. The band’s fourth studio effort and first in twelve years was released last April.
