Lupe Fiasco to preview new album on upcoming tour
Lupe Fiasco has revealed plans to end 2013 by hitting the road for a tour that will preview material off his forthcoming album due for release in early 2014. The Chicago-bred rapper will perform a pair of shows in New England, including Boston’s House of Blues on Tuesday, December 3. Tickets for the show are now on sale through Live Nation for $35 and $49.50.
Fisaco expects to release Tetsuo and Youth early next year, though no official release date has been announced. Fans can get a taste of the new material with lead single “Old School Love” featuring singer Ed Sheeran, which is streaming below.
“I’m looking forward to going back on the road and sharing the new music I’ve been working on with my fans,” said Fiasco in a press release. “This will be just a taste of Tetsuo and Youth.”
Along with the show in Boston, Fiasco will also perform at Lupo’s Heartbreak Hotel in Providence, Rhode Island on Friday, December 6. Tickets for the show are available through eTix for $35 and $45.
Tetsuo and Youth, Fiasco’s fifth full-length studio effort follows 2012’s Food & Liquor II: The Great American Rap Album Pt. 1.
