Cape Cod’s Naukabout Music Festival will return next month for its 4th annual show. The Ryan Montbleau Band will headline this year’s festival, which will take place on the Barnstable County Fairgrounds in Falmouth on Saturday, August 6. Also on this year’s bill will be Zach Deputy, Will Dailey & The Rivals, Barefoot Truth, Adam Ezra Group, Jason Spooner Trio, Jackson Wetherbee Band, Sarah Blacker, and Cape Cod bands Funktapuss and Highly Suspect.

Tickets for the day-long event can be purchased in advance through Ticketfly for $27 or at the gate on the day of the show for $37. Children under 12 will be admitted free although donations will be accepted at the gates for the designated charities of Naukabout Gives.

The Naukabout festival, which is presented by the Cape Cod-based clothing company of the same name, strives to bring together some of the best bands from New England’s best homegrown talent. For this year’s festival, organizers will add the “Busking Stage”, which will allow bands to play stripped down sets near the venue’s entrance. Another new edition will be Naukabout Pick’s, an area dedicated to local bands who have been invited to showcase their music and merchandise on-site.

“We’ve gone to great lengths to make this year’s Naukabout a celebration of local music and to provide exposure for bands emerging in our backyard and all of the acts at this year’s festival are incredible live performers,” said Jeff Conley, a festival organizer, in a press release.

Ryan Montbleau Band, Boston Music Spotlight’s 2010 Band of the Year, will headline this year’s festival after performing each of the past three years. The band continues to tour in support of their latest release, 2010’s Heavy on the Vine.
