Kingston 530 wins 2010 BMS Battle of the Bands

Oliver’s Nightcub was packed all night and fans enjoyed an awesome showcase of music from some of Boston’s best local bands on Friday. In the end, it was Kingston 530 that delivered the most impressive set for the panel of five judges, edging out very close competition from Streight Angular, The Whiskey Poet Band, Veneer and the Johnny Lingo Band to win the 3rd Annual Boston Music Spotlight Battle of the Bands.

Beyond the glory of victory, Kingston 530 wins a prize package worth over $5,000 including the following goods and services: a radio promotion campaign from Powderfinger Promotions, legal services from New Leaf Legal, mastering services from New Alliance East Mastering, a professional photoshoot from J London Photography, CD duplication and packaging from from Disc Makers, graphic design services from Beachwood Graphics, CD duplication and packaging from Coptech Digital and printing services from Printing Sources in Abington, Massachusetts.

Kingston 530 now joins Shadwell (2009) and Hello Mahalo (2008) as winners of the Boston Music Spotlight Battle of the Bands.
