Have you played SXSW before? What brings you back or Why are you heading down?

Nope. We heard this is where the bands go, and that’s what we are. It will be a trial by fire and if we muster the strength to survive the flames our ultimate triumph will be acknowledged by the divine beings of Independent Rock ‘n Roll.

What are you most looking forward to at SXSW?

Being an eye in the storm.

What do you hope to get out of the experience?

Like I said, trial by fire. I think surrounding yourself with 20,000 other people doing exactly what you’re doing sounds like a good way to figure out where your passion lies. Or if your passion is lying! I don’t know, new fans, an eager audience? Whatever the wind blows our way.

Are there any bands you plan on catching while you are there?

Lucius, Aunt Martha, He’s My Brother She’s My Sister, The Spinto Band

When is your next local show?

Wednesday, March 28 at Great Scott with Hallelujah the Hills, The Milkman’s Union and Boy Without God.
