Boston Music Spotlight, the region’s leading source for music news and concert information, is pleased to announce plans for the company’s 2nd annual holiday concert benefiting the Marine Toys for Tots Foundation of Greater Boston.

The benefit concert will take place on Thursday, December 9 at Hennessy’s Hooley House and will feature New England bands Streight Angular, The Self-Proclaimed Rockstars, Twin Berlin, Six Day Slide and JC Young. All proceeds will be donated to the Marine Toys for Tots Foundation benefiting needy children in the Greater Boston area this holiday season. Tickets for the 21+ show are $10 or free with a new unwrapped toy. Tickets can be purchased in advance online at TicketLeap.com. Live Nation and Straight Stitch Custom Embroidery & Silkscreen will co-sponsor the benefit concert.

“We’re absolutely thrilled to be able to give back to the local community during the holiday season by hosting our second annual benefit concert for the Toys For Tots foundation,” said Boston Music Spotlight President & Editor-in-Chief Rory Flynn. “Unfortunately, there are many underprivileged families struggling in our neighborhoods. Thankfully, Toys For Tots does a tremendous job of helping to give every child what they deserve during the holiday season. We’re glad to be able to play a small part in that this year and hope to see a big crowd at Hennessy’s Hooley House on December 9 for what will surely be an awesome night of music for a great cause.”

Attendees who bring new unwrapped toys will be given raffle tickets for the chance to win tickets to select concerts from Live Nation, various gift cards and BMS prize packs including t-shirts from Straight Stitch Custom Embroidery & Silkscreen. Additionally, Hennessy’s Hooley House will provide free light appetizers while supplies last.
