John Powhida International Airport won the third night of Boston’s Rock ‘n’ Roll Rumble last night at TT the Bear’s Place. The band edged out a talented group of competition in Spirit Kid, Cult 45 and The Autumn Hollow Band to book their spot in the semifinals.
The Rock ‘n’ Roll continued last night at TT the Bear’s Place with performances from A Wish For Fire, Tijuana Sweetheart and Full Body Anchor. In the end, however, it was Walter Sickert & the Army Of Broken Toys who rocked their way into the semifinal round by winning the second preliminary night.
After a year off, Boston’s Rock ‘N Roll Rumble returned to the spotlight last night as the first of six preliminary rounds took place at TT the Bear’s Place in Cambridge. Jenny Dee & the Deelinquents booked the first spot in the semifinal round, edging out competition from McAllister Drive, Oldjack and The Blizzard of 78 to win the first preliminary night.
The preliminary rounds for this year’s Boston Emission’s Rock ‘n Roll Rumble have been finalized. The legendary battle of the bands will kick off on Sunday, April 3 and continue over the course of three weeks at TT the Bear’s Place with 24 bands participating.
