Concert promoters Live Nation have run a plethora of specials over the summer to spark ticket sales in the struggling economy, and they plan to continue that through the winter. The company is no offer a club “passport” for an “all-in” price of $49.99 with no fees. Here in Boston the pass applies to shows at the House of Blues and will provide access to passport holders for any non sold-out show at the venue for the rest of the year.

Here’s how it works. Fans can first purchase the “Club Passport” on and a list of participating shows will be immediately available. Every Monday thereafter, Passport holders log on to or follow LiveNation on Facebook or Twitter to see the list of participating shows at the House of Blues and to reserve their ticket. Club Passport holders then must bring their Live Nation Club Passport number and photo I.D. to the club’s box office to pick up their tickets on the night of the show.
