Lady GaGa to play two nights at the Wang
After her proposed tour with Kanye West was called off, Lady GaGa has decided to return to the road for her own headlining tour. The pop star will bring “The Monster Ball” tour to Boston for two nights at the Citi Wang Theatre on Tuesday, December 1 and Wednesday, December 2. Tickets for both shows, which range in price from $43 to $63, go on sale Saturday morning at 10 a.m. through Telecharge. Kid Cudi will serve as opening act for the full tour.
“The Haus of Gaga had been designing ‘The Monster Ball’ for premiere in 2010 at the O2 Arena in London,” explained GaGa in a press release, “but due to diligent work and preparation, ‘The Monster Ball’ will begin on Nov. 27 in Montreal. ‘The Monster Ball’ is a multimedia artistic experience in the style of the first-ever ‘pop electro opera.’”
Prior to the tour kick off, Gaga will release a re-package of her debut album, The Fame, on November 23. The re-package, entitled The Fame Monster, will include eight brand new songs, including the first single “Bad Romance.”
“A message to all my little monsters: The Fame Monster will come out four days before the first live show,” GaGa declared. “You have exactly 96 hours to learn all of the lyrics so you can sing along. Dress accordingly.”
