Jason Aldean will bring his "Wide Open" tour to Campanelli Stadium in Brockton later this summer. The country star will rock the home of the minor league Brockton Rox baseball team on Wednesday, August 12. Rising country stars Jimmy Wayne and Dean Brody will open the show. Tickets for the show are priced from $29.50 to $47.50 and go on sale starting Saturday at 10 a.m. through TicketWeb.com.

Aldean is touring in support of his new album, Wide Open, which was released in April. The album, his third studio effort, has been powered by singles "She’s Country" and "Big Green Tractor." Aldean recently joined forces with rocker Bryan Adams for a taping of the hit CMT television show Crossroads. During the show, which premiers on Friday at 9 p.m., the two collaborate on Aldean’s hits like "She’s Country" and "Hicktown" as well as Adam’s hits like "Summer of ’69" and "Run to You."

The Campanelli Stadium show, which will be Aldean’s only New England appearance this summer, was booked by Simplicity Booking, the same company that previously brought Jack Johnson, Def Leppard, and Bryan Adams to the Brockton ballpark.
