Jaime Foxx makes plans for summer tour

Singer and Academy Award winner actor Jamie Foxx will return to the road to support his 2008 album Intuition. The summer outing includes a stop at Boston’s Bank of America Pavilion on Thursday, August 20. Tickets for the show are now available though Live Nation for $44.50 and $64.50. The following day, Foxx will head south to perform at the Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, Connecticut.

Intuition was released last December and debuted at #3 on the Billboard 200 chart. The first single off the album, “She Got Her Own,” rose to #2 on the Billboard Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Chart. The second single, “Blame It,” hit& #1 on the Billboard Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Chart and is currently at #2 on the Billboard Hot 100, up two spots from last week. Intuition also features guest appearances from Lil Wayne, Kanye West,& T.I. and Ne-Yo.

On the acting side, Foxx’s latest project is Joe Wright’s inspirational film, “The Soloist”. In the film,& Foxx plays Nathaniel Anthony Ayers – a homeless musician with schizophrenia who plays at Walt Disney Concert Hall.
