Video Spotlight: Best of Paul Simon

, Staff

After spending last night at the Citi Wang Theatre, Paul Simon will be heading for cozier confines tonight as he plays an intimate gig at the House of Blues. After his days of soft, folk rock in Simon & Garfunkel, Paul Simon went on to produce quite the eclectic sound on his own. With a catalog so beloved it’s difficult to make any type of list with his songs without feeling like something was left out. With that in mind, we did our best to pick out some of our favorite clips of Paul Simon’s solo career (with a bonus appearance from Art Garfunkel!).

“Me and Julio Down by the Schoolyard” on Sesame Street

“You Can Call Me Al” video with Chevy Chase

“Diamonds on the Soles of Her Shoes” in Zimbabwe

“Slip Slidin’ Away” at Abbey Road

Kodachrome/Maybellene with Art Garfunkel in Central Park
