Echo & the Bunnymen are hitting the road this fall to support their new album, The Fountain. The band will play the House of Blues in November but have now revealed plans for a much more intimate and rare gig. Echo & the Bunnymen will make their way to Great Scott in Allston (capacity 240) on Sunday, October 18. Tickets for the show, which is part of the ongoing Fenway Recording Sessions series, are $35 and on sale today at 10 a.m. through TicketWeb. Fans are limited to purchasing two tickets.

Led by original members Ian McCulloch and Will Sergeant, Echo & the Bunnymen will be touring in support of their eleventh album, The Fountain, which is scheduled for release on October 12. The album is being produced by John McLaughlin, and Coldplay singer Chris Martin has collaborated with the band on one of the album’s tracks. The English legends will return to Boston for a show at the House of Blues on Monday, November 23. Tickets are available for $25 and $35.

The Fenway Recordings Sessions was launched in early 2003 by Fenway Recordings founder Mark Kates. Since then, the Fenway Sessions have welcomed the likes of the Editors, The Ting Tings, MGMT, Klaxons, The Cribs, Hot Chip and Wolfmother to Great Scott.
