Dashboard Confessional have revealed plans for the release of their sixth studio album and subsequent tour. The emo rockers will make their way to Massachusetts on Thursday, December 3, for a show at the Tsongas Arena in Lowell. Joining them on the road will be New Found Glory, Never Shout Never and Single File. Tickets for the show are $30 and go on sale Thursday at 1 p.m. through Ticketmaster.

The band will release After the Ending, their sixth studio album on November 10. Produced by Butch Walker (Weezer, Fall Out Boy) and co-produced by Adam Schlesinger (Fountains of Wayne), the new album follows 2006’s Dusk and Summer. Chris Carrabba, the band’s mastermind, released The Shade of Poison Trees album in 2007 under the band’s name. He then toured in support of the album primarily as a solo act. This time around, the full band will perform as Carrabba will be joined once again by bandmates guitarist John Lefler, bassist Scott Schoenbeck and drummer Mike Marsh.
