Last night’s 311 show with Ziggy Marley at the Comcast Center in Mansfield was canceled after the venue lost power. Opener The Expendables did manage to perform their set before the outage occurred. 311 and Marley were unable to perform after officials called off the shortly before 9 p.m when it was clear that the power would not return anytime soon. No further details regarding the power outage have been made available. However, through 311 frontman Nick Hexum’s Twitter page, we have learned that the show will be made up next Monday, June 29. Tickets from last night’s show will be honored or refunds will be available at the point of purchase.

"We’re incredibly disappointed, Boston," Hexum wrote on his Twitter page after informing that the power outage was affecting everything within a one-mile radius of the venue. "It’s totally out of our hands. We were so looking forward to this show."

He also expressed frustration at the situation saying,"I thought these sheds had a fucking backup generator. We will investigate." In another interesting tweet, Hexum wrote, "Security wouldn’t let us go onstage to say anything because they feared rioting."
