Collective Soul headed to Boston

Collective Soul have announced plans for a show at Boston’s House of Blues as part of their upcoming summer tour. The band will hit the Lansdowne Street venue on Sunday, August 23 with support from Black Stone Cherry and SafetySuit. Tickets for the show, which range in price from $24.50 to $32, go on sale Friday at 10 a.m. through Ticketmaster. A 4-pack of tickets will be made available to fans for $74.

The 90’s favorites will be touring in support of their new album, Collective Soul (Rabbit), which is scheduled to hit stores on August 25. The album, which was written and produced by the band, is the band’s eighth studio release and follows 2001’s Afterwords. Collective Soul (Rabbit)‘s lead single, “Staring Down,” is now streaming on their MySpace page.
