Chris Brown is gearing up to hit return to the road for his 19-city “Fan Appreciation” tour in order to “acknowledge and thank his fans for their on-going support”. The tour will make its way to Boston on Sunday, December 6 for a show at the House of Blues. Tickets for the show, which range in price from $36 to $46, go on sale Friday at 10 a.m. through Ticketmaster. New Boyz will open the show.

The tour will mark Brown’s first since being convicted of assaulting R&B singer and ex-girlfriend Rihanna. In August, the 20-year-old singer was sentenced to five years of probation, six months of community labor and a year of domestic-violence counseling for the attack which occurred last February before the Grammy Awards.

On the tour, Brown is expected to play material from his forthcoming album, Graffiti, which is scheduled to drop in stores later this year. The album’s first single, “I Can Transform Ya,” features Lil’ Wayne and Swizz Beatz was released last month and has peaked at #18 on Billboard’s Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart. Today, Brown released Graffiti‘s second single, “Crawl.”

A portion of the proceeds from Brown’s upcoming tour will be donated to charities including Best Buddies International.
