Bloc Party frontman to play Royale in September

Kele Okereke, lead singer of indie rockers Bloc Party, will delay his show in Boston till September due to visa issues. Originally scheduled to rock the Middle East Upstairs next Monday, Kele will now team up with fellow British rockers Does It Offend You, Yeah? for a show at Royale on Tuesday, September 7. Tickets are now on sale through Ticketmaster for $25.

Kele released his debut solo album, The Boxer, on June 21. The album’s lead single was “Tenderoni”, with “Everything You Wanted” set to serve as the second single. Fans can listen to the album in its entirety on the singer’s official website. The dance/electronica fueled album was was produced by XXXchange.

Does It Offend You, Yeah? is set to release their second studio album, Don’t Say We Didn’t Warn You, later this year. The band’s debut album, You Have No Idea What You’re Getting Into, was released in 2008.
