Blink 182 have revealed plans for their highly anticipated reunion tour. The band will play two New England-area shows, the Comcast Center in Mansfield on August 6 and the Comcast Theatre in Hartford, Connecticut on August 29. Along with a hit-filled Blink-182 headlining set, the summer shows will feature some major support acts. The Boston show will include support from Fall Out Boy and Panic At The Disco, while the Hartford show will feature Weezer and Taking Back Sunday. Chester French round out the bill for both cities.

The band has pledged to make the summer tour affordable for everyone with tickets for most shows ranging in price from the bargain basement $6.75 deal to $69. Tickets for both the Mansfield and Hartford go on sale Saturday at 10 a.m. though Live Nation.

After selling 20 million albums since its formation in 1993, Blink 182 parted ways in 2004 to work on separate projects. However, in February, Travis Barker, Tom Delonge and Mark Hoppus confirmed they would indeed get back together for a reunion tour.

In a press release, bassist Mark Hoppus explained how excited the band are to get back on the road. "After a four year break, we’re ready to get out on the road and play what we hope will be the most amazing tour of the season," he said.& "The lineup is awesome. We’ve got an ever-changing roster of bands, from the most established and successful names in rock and roll, to the hottest up and coming artists on the scene."

Blink-182 are also planning a very ambitious stage show and have enlisted the help of stage designer Martin Phillips, who has also helped Kanye West, Nine Inch Nails and Daft Punk pull off some impressive shows in recent years.
